We'd

next year. The CD is finally finished and up for sale. To order

and check out our new fancy-schmancy media player.
Our
US tour is in the works and we'll post shows and they start
coming in. We're looking forward to seeing you.

The
tour dates are almost all set and our new album "Revenge
of the Flies" is set to be released on September 13th 2007.
You can listen to the title track on our myspace page or on
the GraveWax
radio page. During the tour we are going to keep an online

MySpace blog. We hope to see you soon!

We're
planning our second tour of Europe for
our new CD "Revenge of the Flies". You can listen
to the title track on our Myspace
website. We're looking forward to meeting old friends and making
new ones on our next tour.
If
you have time, stop by and check out our new pictures. More

Hi
folks, we'd like to introduce a new member of the band: Igor
Gregorski on rhythm guitar. New pictures will be coming soon.
He was nice enough to escape from prison and help us with our
last tour in Germany - all on very short notice. He will also
be playing on a few tracks of our new album "Revenge of
the Flies". Stay tuned!

Hey
folks! We're almost finished recording our new full length album,
"Revenge of the Flies" which should be pressed and
available this coming winter. For a more up-to-date discussion
on the progress of things, check out the forum.
We've got a bit of a surprise for you on this CD, that's why
there's going to be a bit of a wait before we release it to
the public. We'll also be posting some of the new songs from
the new CD on this website and on our MySpace site soon. Stay
tuned!
We'd like to also thank all of our fans who saw us play on our
last tour. You were great and we'll be back soon! Dankeschön!

Our
tour of Germany was a lot of fun. We'll be posting pictures
soon, so make sure to come on back! Ivan was not able to do
the tour with us, instead, one of our prison buddies Igor Gregorski
played rhythm guitar for us.
In
other news, we have been secretly recording a new CD, so don't
tell anyone. The recording is nearly finished and sounds creepy
enough to raise the dead. Expect it sometime in the Fall of
2007! The album title will be... (gasp, gasp, falls off chair)
*censored by the KGB*.

Happy
New Year! We got a lot of new shows lined up to break in the
new year. We are also planning a tour of Germany in May. When
we have the definate dates we'll post them on the site. Some
of you might have noticed that our biography is a little out-dated.
The new one reads like a sexy novel of terror and adventure.
It isn't posted it yet, but we thought you should know just
how good it is.
Look
out Colorado! we'll be playing a show in Durango on Feb. 25th!
We are also planning a small west coast tour in the near future.
If you want us to play your town, let us know. We always enjoy
a little fresh meat to spice up the stew.
New
T-shirts and stickers will be available soon! Catch you later,
suckers!

Rumors
have been flying around that the Route 66 Killers are going
to play Las Vegas on the 29th. Well, they are all true, ever
single damn word of 'em. From what we hear it's gonna be in
the Thunderbird Lounge at the:
Aruba
Hotel
1215 S. Las Vegas
Blvd.,
Las
Vegas, NV 89101
What's
it gonna cost? - $5.00, so quit whining you big baby.
Who else is playing, huh? - Well, there's gonna be
a large line up - The
Volcanics, Thee
Swank Bastards, The
Boweltones, and The Devell's

Ok,
so we've updated our press section -
make sure to go and check it out. Then you won't have to hear
us harping about how great Murder On Beaver
Street is - We've left that up to other people. We don't
want to jinx anything, but we haven't had one negative review
yet *fingers crossed / voodoo good luck dance*. The reviews
are still coming in, so be a pal, stop by our humble space on
the web and read the kind words that were written about us.
July

Hey
there folks! We're back to playing and will be at the Rhythm
Room in Phoenix September 15th. As far as we know we'll
be playing with the Flame
Trick Subs. Check out Hillgrass
Bluebilly Entertainment for more info.
We've
also changed our line up. The Animal and Boris have left the
gang and gone on to a better place - RIP. We'd like to introduce
the beautiful and talented pyro Katarina Molotova on bass and
the evil and twisted Sasha on the skins. There are also rumors
of a tour coming up some time in December or January. But since
these are rumors, we'll leave them at that. If you are on our
mailing
list you'll be one of the fist to know, so if you haven't
signed up yet - DO IT!

Happy
New Year! We had quite a bit happen since last year. We were
planning a tour of Europe that didn't work out. But on the positive
side we recorded a song for a Ramones Tribute Compilation by
Shock Rock Records out of Germany. The song is 7-11. I know,
we're an instrumental band, therefore we got Lona Lovejoy from
the band Lona and the Love Objects to sing for us. We'll post
more news when we know about release dates... etc.

GraveWax
Records has just added a new forum. Click here
to check it out and discuss all the happenings at GraveWax.
June

We've
added two new mp3s to the website: Mansfield
and The Choir. Mansfield
is one of our oldest songs written and recorded in 1999. The
Choir is a surf arrangement of Tchaikovsky's "Xop"
Op. 39 No. 23. and also provides a glimpse of some of the new
material being recorded by the Route 66 Killers. Enjoy!

Hello
once again. Try our new game Ghoul Shoot
Up added today. If you have a dial up internet connection,
it may take a minute to load. Here's a snap shot of the game:

There
will be more levels added within the next few weeks so please
come by and check it out. The track playing on this level is
"Shallow Grave". Have fun!

The
Route 66 Killers' debut album Murder on Beaver Street is pressed
and ready for sale. Click here for more
info. Cheers!

The
CD is finally recorded. We are still going through the process
of having them pressed. Join the mailing
list and we'll contact you as soon as they're finished.
As for the band, we are all doing well. The Animal dissappeared
into the jungles of the Amazon (Brazil), Ivan
is lurking around Flagstaff, Boris has gotten himself into the
porn industry and I am off on "official" business
in Germany. This is all true - except the whole porn industry
thing... nevermind. If you are in Jena or Weimar, feel free
to e-mail me, since
I'll be there for most of the year. Other than that, we hope
you enjoy the CD. See you all soon.
April

That's
right folks, we'll be playing in the quad on the NAU
campus. So those of you who are too young to be hitting
up the bars can come see us. Girls are encouraged to throw their
panties and bras. Don't worry we're used to it. Once again,
we had a awesome show with Undertoe
on the 28th. I'd like to thank Dan, Steve and Joe for being
the cool guys that they are. If you haven't seen them yet, you
suck. The only way to redeem yourself is to come to the next
show they play or buy one of their CDs or shirts. Later.

March
22nd, 2003
There
should be an upcoming show in Phoenix soon. Make sure to check
it out. As soon as I have the details, I'll post them. I'd like
to thank Rob and John for playing with us on the 14th gig. Just
as a word for those who aren't very zombie savvy, if you see
them in the near future, make sure to shoot them in the head.
Any torso shots won't be able to stop them. We have many more
new songs, with song titles such as "Gilligan Goes to Hell"
and "Desert Highway". They're quite spooky. In fact
for our song "Desert Highway" I wrote some lyrics.
With the “Gilligan Goes to Hell” song, just imagine
Gilligan stuck on the desert isle in Lucio
Fulci’s masterpiece Zombie.
SKIPPEERRRRRRR!!! So anyway, have fun and make sure to be safe
while practicing voodoo.
Boris
won't be playing for our show on the 14th. To take his place
(for that show only), we'll have guest bassists John and Rob.
If you don't plan on going, you should come anyway to see Undertoe,
who we'll be opening up for. Once again at Joe's Place we'll
be having one crazy instrumental surf night. Check it out. Poka.

I've
added some new pictures. It's
about time... And NO! I'm not bald. The older pictures are
all dark, and I have a high forehead :)

February
26nd, 2003
Getting
the CD done has been a total headache. Due to a major recording
disaster, we're going to get our CD recorded in Phoenix. For
those of you who have been waiting, all I can say is too bad
:) We will have it done very soon though. Our show with Undertoe
was very fun (if you missed it, you're definately going to
hell). We'll be playing a show on March
28th at the Monte
V. Don't forget to check out the new Zombie
Chick of the Month. Miss March - what a beatuy. Also,
if you e-mailed me recently and I haven't responded, I'll
still write you, I've been extremely busy as of late. If it
takes more than a month, I probably don't want to talk to
you.
-Sergei-
February
2nd, 2003
I
just added a live track from our show in Scottsdale -"
Masque of the Red Death" . It's also listed on
the Music page. I should have more
up soon. See you at the shows.-Sergei-
Still
working on the Summer tour. Due to the lateness of the CD,
looks like we're probably only going to play a few cities.
Make sure to check out the new Zombie
Chick of the Month page. And yes, we're finally going
to play an all ages show at Club 111 (it's about time!)
- Saturday February 22. I'm not sure what other band we'll
be playing with, but I'm sure it will be fun. Sadly, The
Animal (Nate) will be leaving the band in June. We're definately
going to miss him. We'd like to welcome Eddie into the band.

December
24, 2002
Thanks
to those who showed up at our last show in Scottsdale. A
correction - the bands we played with were "Two Dimes"
and "Damaged goods". I'd like to thank Chase for
getting us the gig. I should have some pictures from the
last show pretty soon. Sorry, but I still haven't put a
new album cover up to vote for. It should be on-line before
too long. I'm working on a forum. Until then...
-Sergei-
December
17, 2002
Make
sure to check us out at Chasers
in Scottsdale - December 21st. We'll be playing with Yar's
Revenge, and maybe another band. I'm still not sure. In
any case, hopefully this new page will keep everyone updated
on anything new that the R66Killers are doing. Since the
semester is over, the R66Killers will be parting for a month,
but they should be back in full swing by mid January. We
have some exciting shows with The
Quakes in late January, and Undertoe
and the Tiki Tones
the following month - make sure to check out their
websites for Mp3s and such. As for this website, I recently
put up an old song Surfin' With
Satan available for download. This song will not be
on the album; I recorded it with awesome songwriter Jeremy
May ;) a year or so back. In any case, I hope you enjoy
it. When the album is completely done there should be more
songs on the listen page. The album "Murder on Beaver
Street" should be done sometime in January instead
of December. I'm thinking about showing some different album
covers on the website, and having you vote for
which one you like the best. Your input is appreciated.
Also any comments or ideas are welcome. See you at the shows
- and keep it dead and dyin'
-Sergei-
